That's not a bad representation, except I tend to stretch out the blog reading all day long. Well, not all day long, but five minutes here, five minutes there, throughout the day.
TV has taken a serious backseat, though. What's the point when there's all this?
While most people are shutting down there brains after work, those of us in the blogosphere are just revving up for another brain jog. It can be nothing but beneficial.

Wait, wait! Except for the Daily Show and Colbert. They kicks ass.

"I tend to stretch out the blog reading all day long. "
Yeah, I kinda do too. But my employer reads this blog, so I gotta make it look like I actually work. ;)

The problem is that blogging -- or blog reading -- is a pretty solo activity. My family tends to get a little crispy around the edges when unwinding at the end of the day puts them watching something together on DVD or TV...and me with my nose in the Internet. They get annoyed when I bring the laptop in...because I'm not truly "present," you know?!

Wait a minute. I'm supposed to be writing an *outline* before posting? Wow, I've been going about this all wrong indeed.
