Sharks are single minded. They're ultra-efficient hunting, killing, and eating machines.
Dolphins are just as effective at hunting, yet are known for their intelligence and playful nature.
Sharks are respected and feared. No one wants to swim with one.
Dolphins are the life of the party. Everyone wants to swim with one.
Sharks mostly work alone.
Dolphins are extremely social, working in groups while fishing. They foster strong social ties.
Sharks frown.
Dolphins smile.
Sharks can't stop moving.
Dolphins need to come up for air.
Shark skin is abraisive.
Dolphins are soft and slippery.
Sharks haven't evolved much in thousands of years.
Dolphins have.
Nature needs both.
...But I'd rather be a Dolphin.

I've just come across your site and I'm definitely a fan. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Wait a cotton pickin' second Darmano...
You said you weren't a writer and that's why you are so good with the graphic stuff and here lately you're looking an awful lot like a good writer. What the hell? You're leaving me nothing... NOTHING! I can't do graphics of any kind, even with Crayons, to save my life and now I have to try and compete with your writing? Dude... I'm starting to get upset.
Happy New Year. Enjoy the sand, sun and sky. What's the water like? I miss my home...

Sharks also have a really, really bad PR department, accounting for most our perceptions.
One thing in their defense: you could probably argue that they are some of the most sensitive animals on the planet (ability to sense minute quantities of blood in water, electricity associated with muscle contractions, etc.) And while we usually think sharks are stupid brutes, more recent scientific research indicates otherwise.
I dunno. The Sharks ZooBook was my favorite, so I'm biased. But I'd rather be a misunderstood genius than a pack runner.
