OK Bob, here's a hint. It starts with... :)
Posted by: DA | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 02:30 PM
That's just WRONG! ;)
Posted by: Cam Beck | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 03:46 PM
That's an attention getter. Bloggers are, by nature, curious people (I mean that in a good way). My curiosity has now forced me to set an alarm. Being an IT guy as well, I'm a stickler for details, so is that 2pm CST or EST?
Posted by: Doug Meacham | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 05:37 PM
Doug, 2PM CST.
Cam, It is WRONG. ...And yet oh so RIGHT.
Posted by: DA | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 05:49 PM
You're pregnant! Right? Is that it?
Posted by: Ann Handley | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 05:49 PM
Dammit Ann! How did you know that I'm having Doc's baby?
Posted by: DA | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 05:51 PM
Will you name her after me?
Damn, you are HOT!!!!!
Posted by: Ann Handley | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 05:57 PM
Sorry Ann. If it's a girl, we're leaning towards Kathy. If it's a boy, we like Hugh.
Posted by: DA | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 06:29 PM
umm, huh?
I think i'd like a hint. Maybe two.
Posted by: Paul McEnany | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 08:21 PM
Paul,
Hint # 1: "it" takes place in Chicago
Hint #2: You'll want to be there
Posted by: DA | Friday, February 16, 2007 at 08:46 PM
Are they reversing the results of the Super Bowl?
Posted by: Cam Beck | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 09:58 AM
Ohhhh Cam, so close yet so far.
OK, another hint...
"it" includes the following.
1. 250+ bloggers
2. Live Music
3. An open Mic
Posted by: DA | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 10:15 AM
Bloggeroke?
Posted by: Cam Beck | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 03:56 PM
OK Cam, you are getting warmer. There may indeed be some bloggeroke going on.
Another hint...
"it" will feature the "Brat Pack" of the blogging world.
Posted by: DA | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 04:30 PM
yeeps! now "its" all I can think about LOL - music? bratpack? bloggeroke? Chicago?
Posted by: Bob Glaza | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 05:13 PM
Bob, you are one perceptive SOB. Hint, I just dropped another clue.
Posted by: DA | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 05:41 PM
Bbbfobber Rrrmmmfrrr! [Dang. It's kinda hard to talk through this duct tape...]

SOB=State of the Blogosphere?
Posted by: Cam Beck | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 09:08 PM
Cam, are you sure you are an IA? Your guesses are getting very creative ;)
Nope—now you are getting cold. I suggest you do a Technorati search.
Posted by: DA | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 09:14 PM
I'm thinking now it has something to do with...let's see...without letting the Secret Out of the Bag :) - are you guys really in Chicago? Be there at conference in October.
Posted by: Bob Glaza | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 10:45 PM
Bob,
See you in Chicago in October. But "it" is happening in May
Posted by: DA | Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 11:20 PM
Alright... It's starting to take some shape (especially if Bob is right over on his blog)... I just wonder about the details of the gathering.
Just a few more hours. :)

Umm, does it have anything to do with Oprah?
Posted by: Paul McEnany | Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 10:08 AM
There you go, Paul! 250 bloggers in the audience get awarded a brand spanking new computer!
Posted by: Cam Beck | Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 10:10 AM
OK, you are t*h*i*s close to giving it away David! Hush yourself!
;)
Posted by: Wendy Piersall :: eMom | Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 11:02 AM
The second coming... shit. Anyone seen my bible???
Posted by: Sean Howard | Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 12:15 PM
The Bible according to Armano?
And, how does Wendy know what it is?
What kind of computer are we getting?
I mean really, DA, thank you so much for getting us on Oprah so we can receive our new computers. This really is just too much.
Cam, let me know when you book your flight!
Posted by: Paul McEnany | Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 12:51 PM
Can you wait one more day to reveal it? This build-up...or watching everyone guessing...is too much fun. Dontcha think? I hate to see that end :-).
Looking forward to it!
Posted by: CK | Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 02:00 PM
OK guys, wow our imaginations really took off on this one.
Well it was fun while it lasted (one weekend). The big news is we're having a conference. But Paul, you were close. In a way, Liz Strauss is kind of like Oprah in the blogging world. :)
Thanks for playing. Hope a few of you can make it.
