BouGie Man

Bougie_2

Update: Don't believe the hype.
With everyone chatting about Pownce, Spock, Ziggs and of course the iPhone, it's becoming difficult to keep up with, let alone try out the new technologies.  Luckily since I don't have an iPhone —I've had some time to play around with BouGie.  I'm on a limited beta test plan and have been asked not to blog about it in detail until they give me the green light, but I think it's going to be big.  Stay tuned...

do you have any invites left for Bougie. would be willing to trade Pownce if you aren't in yet (which i doubt)

Hi Sean,

See my latest post. But if I did have a real invite—I'd send you one... :)

LOL. I feel dupped :-). Great experiment. There has been a lot of noise lately (on Twitter especially) about new social networks popping up here and there. which begs the question how much noise is too much?

However as the development of these so called social networks becomes easier and easier, we will see a lot more of these. How do you then decide which one gets to be explored more? I thought Twitter was rubbish till I actually tried it.

After being off of Twitter for a couple of days , I came back to Spock, Pownce...and then your BouGie. (I'm one of your "followers.") It almost sent me into a social app tailspin.

I started Twittering spoof slogans to my Twitter friends: "Social apps: Know when to say when." and "Social apps: Just say no." So I'm quite pleased and relieved that your creation is a fake.

How many more social media apps do you think will be on the scene in the next couple of weeks? Are we at saturation yet?

P.S. I like this experiment! It says a lot about Twitter and the viral nature of life right now.
