Can I add...

Have spouse tell you the bills are piling up and not enough money coming in?

??? :)

Seriously though, another way is to get fired.

As morose as it sounds, thinking about the legacy you want to leave and how you want to be remembered, is a surefire way to stop being "busy" (isn't easy to get caught up in being busy?!) and start focusing on the stuff that really matters.

Nice post. Consider my ass lit.

"Nice post. Consider my ass lit."

LOL. That made my day. And it's still morning here...

Great ideas...Procrastination is rooted in fear and I find it extremely useful to remind myself of my mortality when irrational fears become an obstacle to DOING

Reality...we are all...dead people walking!

I do all of this every day just to keep from being bored. (Or at least it seems that way.)

It's easier once you get the hang of it.

Only problem is if you do all of the above, you'd better have pretty good judgment about when to do each one. Timing is everything.

Jim, just having a spouse is a good way to get your ass lit. ;-)

Josh, I agree, timing is everything. Note the timing of my posts and see what you can extract from that. ;-)
